Over the years we’ve often done training at our factory with Architects, Interior Designers and our Furniture Dealers to show how joinery is made and it’s proven to be useful to those needing clarification on how best to document and design custom furniture and joinery.
We have a large CNC driven joinery workshop alongside a solid timber and upholstery workshop hence it’s easy to demonstrate best practices.
The workshop takes approximately 90 minutes and by the end of we would aim to have all participants:
• Understand and describe the construction methodology of custom furniture
• Design custom furniture and joinery to best meet budget requirements
• Document custom furniture and joinery to meet the requirements of a joiner
• Create best practice furniture and joinery documentation
We are approved training providers under the Refuel CPD network administered by the Australian Institute of Architects. All participants who are registered architects will receive 1.5 formal CPD points.
Who May Benefit from this Module – This CPD module maybe of interest to architects and specifiers working in commercial, public, hospitality, healthcare or education design environments and seeking more clarification around joinery and furniture related concerns.
